Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Solstice Cyber Consulting website. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Important: These terms apply to use of this website only. Any cybersecurity consulting services will be governed by a separate written agreement signed by Solstice and the client.
1. Website operator
The Solstice Cyber Consulting brand and this website are operated by Solstice Tax & Financial Services LLC (“Solstice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Informational purpose only
The website provides general information about cybersecurity, compliance, and the services Solstice may offer. Website content is not legal advice, certification advice, an assessment result, a security guarantee, or a substitute for advice based on your organization’s specific facts and systems.
Your use of this website, submission of an inquiry, or booking of a consultation does not create a consultant-client, fiduciary, confidential, or other professional relationship. Such a relationship begins only after both parties sign a written services agreement.
3. AI-assisted website content
Artificial intelligence and other automated tools may have been used to assist with portions of this website’s design, code, drafting, editing, formatting, or organization. Solstice selects, reviews, modifies, and approves website content before publication; however, AI-assisted and human-authored content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
AI assistance used in creating this website does not replace professional judgment and does not represent a guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, originality, copyright status, security, or fitness of any website content. This disclosure concerns the creation of the website and does not establish how any future client deliverable will be produced. Client work will be governed by the applicable written services agreement.
4. No guaranteed outcomes
Solstice does not guarantee that use of this website or engagement of our services will result in an Authority to Operate, CMMC certification, successful assessment, passed audit, elimination of security risk, government contract award, or any other specific result. Outcomes depend on many factors outside Solstice’s control, including client decisions, system conditions, third-party actions, assessor determinations, and changes in laws, standards, or agency requirements.
5. Sensitive information
Do not submit classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information, passwords, security keys, vulnerability details, protected personal information, export-controlled information, or other sensitive system data through this website, email, Calendly, or any general inquiry channel. Solstice may provide an approved secure method for exchanging information after an engagement is established.
6. Intellectual property
The Solstice name, logo, branding, and the human-authored or human-selected elements of this website are owned by or licensed to Solstice and are protected to the extent permitted by applicable law. Solstice reserves all rights in the original selection, coordination, arrangement, revision, and presentation of website materials.
You may view and print reasonable portions of the website for your internal evaluation of Solstice’s services. You may not copy, republish, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, impersonate, remove notices from, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.
7. Third-party services and links
This website may link to or use third-party services, including Calendly. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Solstice does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, availability, security, content, or data handling.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use this website to interfere with its operation; introduce malware; attempt unauthorized access; probe, scan, or test systems without written authorization; collect information unlawfully; misrepresent your identity; or violate any applicable law.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Solstice does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, current, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solstice and its owners, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or reliance on this website. Solstice’s total liability for any claim arising solely from use of this website will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, specifically to access the website.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law and does not replace or modify the liability terms in a signed client services agreement.
11. Changes and availability
Solstice may update, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the website or revise these terms at any time. Updated terms become effective when posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law and severability
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
